Kingswood Golf Course (18)
A new community lifestyle in one distinctive estate. Situated in George, the golfing hub of the Garden Route, the Kingswood Golf Course offers a championship golf course and community lifestyle estate in the protective embrace of the Outeniqua Mountains.
Coastal golf resorts are the fastest growing attraction on the international golf scene. The South African coastline is a frontrunner among the top destinations, with a range of golf estates. The course at George Golf Club is one of the country’s top ten courses; another is Kingswood’s other neighbour, Fancourt Links.
There are two nine hole mashie courses, a golf service centre and a driving range in George. Successfully hosting the President’s Cup has put George, and the Garden Route, firmly on the international map of world class golf destinations. Trends indicate that the Garden Route is poised to become the world’s number one coastal golf destination, a true Golf Mecca.
It’s time for you to regain your balance and restore your swing in a tranquil, secure haven for the whole family.
The Kingswood Golf Course consists of 18 holes over rolling fairways with undulating greens. This will be an African course, but with a colonial theme and a number of special touches. Architects have designed colonial style shelters to be distributed round the course, where a long, cool drink can be enjoyed out of reach of the sun. In addition to the gazebo style shelters, the Victorian theme will be carried through the course with patches of an English country garden in the form of classical rose gardens and other landscape effects.
