Pezula Golf Estate (18)

General Information

Pezula Championship Golf Course is located in the Western Cape of South Africa in the picturesque town of Knysna, the jewel of the world famous Garden Route. This stunningly beautiful golf course is a sweeping spectacle of fairways and greens rolling through the pristine Southern Cape landscape.

This golf estate is situated on the rolling hills between the Knysna lagoon and the rocky cliffs of the Indian Ocean. The area known as the East Heads has become the site of 18 spectacular championship holes of golf and 250 hectares of well-planned residential properties and natural fynbos communities. The Scottish "links-style" course; designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of Golfpan in California, features cool-season grasses and five different tee placements to stify, challenge and reward all golfers.

Golf course architects Ron Fream and David Dale of GolfPlan USA have sculptured an incredibly diverse coastal terrain into a course that offers all players a total golfing experience. The varied coastal terrain offers a complete golfers' menu requiring a full range of shots. The course’s designers, Ron Fream and David Dale (Golfplan USA) have compared the look of Pezula golf course to that of Gleneagles in the Scottish Highlands and Pebble beach on the Monterey coastline.
